Default Category

Driving to San Francisco makes me happy.  I've been living in the suburb for more than 15 years now and  I am used to the slow life in here. However I still feel the excitement of the big city when I put my step in the city. It feels like an adventure always!

Let me tell you about my first adventure in 2013.

As I posted the flyer last month, I had a chance to teach bok jumoni class in SF Korean Center.

I made a template, cut fabrics, made strings with garakji( ring shape) maedub and packed lots of pins and needles.

Running stitch, back stitch, fold and sew and leave the room for turning inside out....My students were eager to learn this fun jumoni making.

Teaching always makes me happy! Sharing my culture, tradition, some techniques and love of making things...

Look at these happy faces :)

Next week, our next adventure is jokabo patterned jumoni!

Would you like to join us?
