Happy New Year, again!
Celebrating Lunar New Year makes me feel that I get extra time as a bonus. Koreans celebrate Seollal, Lunar New Year by preparing special foods to remember and honor ancestors, visiting family and wish good fortune for the New Year.
I had a great time making bok jumeoni with Oakland Museum visitors. I always wanted to go participate Vietnamese spring roll table but this year again, I didn't have time to visit them. I will try next year! Tibetan prayer flag making table and Chinese Calligraphy table were busy with many people as well as Japanese handmade doll table. The festive day started with lion dance and ended with dragon dance. I wish you a happy and prosperous new year.
Did you enjoy following the winter Olympic games in Pyeong chang last month? I stayed up late to watch games that I like and enjoyed seeing landscapes.
