Hello from Korea! 안녕하세요!

Last week, I packed and flew to Korea to visit my family. After I arrived at Incheon Airpot, I took a rapid PCR test, and the test result, which is negative, was sent to me while I was taking care of eSIM for my phone and luggage service at the airport. Korea's delivery system is very impressive! I was able to send two big pieces of luggage to my parent's address and travel with a small bag. PCR test requirement on arrival is suspended as of October 1, 2022. I still have to wear a face mask indoors but I feel fine with this. Many people still wear face masks to protect themselves from sun exposure.
My first week went fast while I was having a slow downtime with my parents. One morning, I went out with my dad to collect chestnuts and acorns. Chestnuts were so sweet and acorns gave me wonderful hues of light brown. I dyed scraps of silk fabrics using acorns. I am happy to have new remnants of memory that I can remember and cherish.

Next week, 이화 퀼트전, the exhibit at my alma mater with other quilters who went to the same school is opening on October 4. Each participant will show a piece of work and one puzzle piece.

Also, it is the Quilt Festival in Korea week. I will be participating in Dancing Needle's booth. I use Dancing Needle's bag handles for my handmade bags and purses often. I am excited to meet creative people that I only saw on Instagram next week. I will post images on Instagram when I attend this quilt show.

I am going to participate in the Making Zen Online Retreat organized by Kate Ward of Zen Stitching. I made a special tutorial video for the program and If you join the retreat as a VIP, you will get an extra bonus from me. I hope you join and enjoy wonderful programs from many creative artists. Hint, hint for the project and an extra bonus!

Many of you asked me to print more fabrics so I am offering these two jogakbo prints in 56" wide, organic cotton gauze. $36/yard plus $5 shipping. I will take your order from October 1-October 5 and I will ship your order in November when I am back home. If you want to order multiple continuous yards, please let me know!
