Summertime breeze
'Catalyze' recently went to the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.
This work shows 21 different stitch techniques of bojagi making and I really enjoyed creating this. This work will be available to see early next year at the museum.
I hope you all are enjoying the summer weather! When I take a walk with my little dog in the evening, the hot air during the day slowly changes back to the crisp and breezy air. The sky turns into bubble gum colors and my mind wanders to places that I left part of my heart.

I am excited to announce that my work, "Remnants of memory" was selected for Fiber Arts X!

Exhibition dates: July 31 - September 12, 2021
I went to the opening day and I feel so honored to be in the show.

If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, please visit the exhibit and say hi to my work! And if you go there, check out this place for fresh produce. I stopped by and came back home with a bag full of fresh fruits and vegetables.

The Quilt Show's new show 2902 has another segment, Saeksilnubi, that I filmed with Alex Anderson in January. Here's the trailer link
And this is the one I introduced back in April! Show 2807 Link
You can sign up for a 7-day Free Trial and watch all the episodes.

I am going to take August off from most of the works and try to regenerate my creative energy. The first half of this year's been very busy and meaningful for me while I was meeting so many of you via Zoom. Thank you very much for your sweet and kind words and enthusiasm about creating with hand stitching.

I will resume Korea Textile Tour in 2022!
I am checking Korea's travel restrictions frequently. Still, visitors to Korea are subject to a 14-day mandatory quarantine. So I am planning to have tours in May 2022 and October 2022. My 2019 participants will have a priority to travel for the 2022 tours, and later this year I will open the registration to wait-list.
There is a wait-list available, so please let me know if you are interested in future tours. If you are already on the wait-list, you will get an email when I resume the tour. Thanks for being patient!
Bojagi stitch technique books also went to the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco

I am going to make this 'Stitch Technique Book Making Workshop' soon and hope you can join me in this project. When I am ready, I will announce it to you all!
